Six Nations: Poitrenaud in at full-back as Lièvremont moves Traille to inside centre

Head coach Marc Lièvremont has made just one personnel change to France's starting XV for Sunday's clash with Ireland in Dublin, with Clément Poitrenaud coming in for the injured centre Maxime Mermoz.

Mermoz dislocated his shoulder in France's 34-21 home win against Scotland, forcing Lièvremont to re-jig his centre partnership once more. Although he recalled veteran international Yannick Jauzion to his match-day squad the head coach has resisted putting his straight back in his starting XV, instead opting to move Traille from full-back to inside centre, with Poitrenaud coming in at No 15.

Traille's switch to inside centre means the Biarritz star will play in his normal club position, although his versatility is such that it will actually be his third different starting position for France in his past three games. Traille played at fly-half in all of France's November international - in the absence of injured first choice Francois Trinh-Duc - before being moved to full-back for last Saturday's Six Nations opener against Scotland.

The only other change to France's match-day squad sees gnarled Biarritz prop Sylvain Marconnet preferred to Castres' Luc Ducalcon among the replacements.
